SBS Special FundsThe School of Biological Sciences Special Funds Committee is committed to supporting excellent undergraduate students in biology through scholarships and to foster their involvement in research projects. Outstanding undergraduates are invited to apply for scholarships (typically around $500 per year) to help support their studies. Students with demonstrated financial need will have higher priority for scholarship awards. Applications for funds to support active participation in research projects also will be considered (up to $800 per year). Scholarships and funds for research are not mutually exclusive but require submission of separate applications by eligible students. Proposals are due 13 March 2009 by 5:00pm. Please submit proposals to: School of Biological Sciences Proposals must follow the described format. Only BIOS majors are eligible to apply. No late proposals can be accepted.
