Requirements for the major include course work in genetics, cell and molecular biology, ecology and evolution, organismic biology, as well as supporting course work in chemistry, calculus, statistics, and physics.

You can gain field biology experience by studying at Cedar Point Biological Station, which offers many hands-on lab and field courses during the summer. For many biological sciences students, Cedar Point is the highlight of their undergraduate experience.
