The School of Biological Sciences is proud to congratulate PhD students Noori Choi (from Dr. Eileen Hebets’ lab) and Natalia Gutierrez-Pinto (from Dr. Jay Storz’ lab) on receiving the RC Lewontin Early Graduate Research Excellence Grant from the Society for the Study of Evolution this year. They were 2 of the 21 recipients of the award.

The RC Lewontin Early Graduate Research Excellence Grant is meant to assist students in the early stages of their Ph.D. programs by enabling them to collect preliminary data (to pursue additional sources of support) or to enhance the scope of their research beyond current funding limits (e.g. by visiting additional field sites, or working at other labs).
