Are you a UNL student interested in a research career in the biomedical sciences? Apply to be an INBRE scholar and participate in an NIH-Funded Summer Research Program at UNL, UNMC, or Creighton University.
Eligibility
- Career interest in biomedical research -- The program is not recruiting students whose primary interest is pursuing a professional medical degree (for example, a medical degree)
- Intention to remain at UNL for the duration of the two year program (i.e., current sophomores on a four-year degree plan or current juniors on a five-year degree plan).
Benefits
- Two full years (including summers) of research funding
- Year 1 - $4,000 + housing for summer; $4,000 for academic year
- Year 2 - $4,500 + housing for summer; $4,000 for academic year
- Research experience in Omaha or Lincoln in the first summer and opportunity to continue projects through graduation
