Research Interests
My group’s research focuses on developing and testing theory to understand feedbacks between terrestrial vegetation and the global climate system under present-day and projected future conditions. Our work couples lab and field manipulation experiments, observational data collection, and computational modeling to scale from individual plant to ecosystem processes. We are interested in questions regarding photosynthetic acclimation, plant resource use and allocation, and plant-microbe symbioses.
